Imagine there is a big bowl of candy sitting on the counter. There are so many amazing choices, ranging from chocolates to gummies, sour candy, and taffy candy. But which candy is actually the best? After speaking to many North Penn High School students and staff, a list was compiled of the top 5 best pieces of Halloween candy.

1. Reese’s

10/30 students and staff voted for Reese’s as the best candy. To match the theme of Halloween, the pumpkin Reese’s would be a great pick this year for a candy to give trick-or-treaters.

2. Twix

4/30 students and staff voted for Twix. Doesn’t matter if it’s left or right, Twix is coming in as number 2.

3. Kit Kat

3/30 students and staff vote Kit Kat as the best candy. 

4. 100 Grand Bar

3/30 students and staff voted for the 100 Grand Bar. Even though Kit Kat and 100 Grand were tied, both options are delicious and great.

5.  Butterfingers

2/30 students and staff voted Butterfingers as the best candy. Even though it is last on this list, Butterfingers is still a choice that students and staff reach for.

During the Halloween season, Reese’s is clearly the top choice. Whether it is in the pumpkin shape or has potato chips in it, or even if it’s the king-size. Passing out Reese’s on Halloween will surely leave the bowl at your door empty in no time.
