TOWAMENCIN- In opening of this years’ North Penn HS Political Mock Convention advisor Mr. Brian Haley outlined that per a No Labels/Harris X Poll in Dec 2022: 69% of voters don’t want Biden to run again, and 62% of voters don’t want Trump to run again. And with current rates, per Wealth Media, the “American Dream” now comes with a staggering price tag of nearly $3.5 million dollars (lifetime expenses of common milestones).
The point is, costs are on the rise and America is discontentedwith the front-running candidates. And amidst all this tension, a local teacher has announced his presidential campaign.
After the turnout and students’ open microphone comments during this year’s aforementioned Mock Convention, North Penn’s long-time social studies teacher Mr. Gus Maurer announced to his colleagues this morning that he plans to get his 250,000 signatures and enter the presidential race.
Teaching in the social studies department for the better part of two decades, Maurer is exceptionally versed in the world of not only American history and politics but also the intricacies of macro and micro economics.
While these qualifications may not supercede the likes of the 45th and 46th President of the United States, they do indeed serve as a benchmark for seasoned knowledge on politics and economics.
Maurer has already announced that for his first fundraiser, he is going to sell new Social Studies textbooks, complete with a copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
The Knight Crier urges all who are eligible to participate in Pennsylvania’s April 23rd primary election and support our teacher.
Gus for U.S!
