SZA show moved to NPHS auditorium
RnB superstar SZA has officially rescheduled her Philadelphia concert to take place right here at North Penn High School!
As of now, the concert is set to take place on April 31st in the auditorium.
Her show, originally dated for March 2nd, was canceled due to technical difficulties at the Wells Fargo Center. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the venue was unprepared to house an event as large as this one, so SZA and her team were forced to turn to other sources.
“As one of the largest high schools in the Philadelphia area, North Penn has everything we’re looking for in a venue,” stated a member of SZA’s team.
Unfortunately, Omar Apollo, who has been opening all the shows for SZA, will not be able to make it due to other commitments. However, in his place is an arguably even better act.
In his place will be our very own local band, Indium. Since their legendary performance at junior prom, they have gained enough notoriety to open up her Philly leg of the tour.
To make preparations for the show, the school board has created a plan to remove the first 5 auditorium rows to make room for GA tickets.
