Working Day and Knight- Not only do the Knights dedicate their time on the field, but also off of it. Once a month, the NP Knights football team volunteers their time in a Community Day.

Once a month, the North Penn Knights spend an entire day helping the community and help make a difference.With an impressive record of 7-0, the Knights stand undefeated. The team is very collaborative and strategic.Their tactic is to work in unity to defeat their opponents. The team’s focus is not only about winning, but also giving back to the community.

When the North Penn Knights volunteer their time for community day, they perform many activities to help create a better environment for their town. The Knights volunteer in fundraisers, clean the streets, and raise awareness for a good causes. Additionally, the Knights spend a considerable amount of time supporting the Lansdale Cannoneers. During the Cannoneers’ games, the Knights volunteer in various ways, such as refereeing. The Knights also provide mentorship and guidance to youth.

Additionally, community day allows the players to relax and increase their mental and physical health.

“I enjoy volunteering for [the] community. It brings people together and builds character,” said Brandon Kennedy, a member of the football team.

Some players on the team really enjoy community day and are really dedicated in what they are doing.

“I really care for the community,” said Terry Kim, a member of the football team. “I also love the fact that we could just go out and volunteer and make a difference.”

Community day is very influential to the team and gives them a better attitude about the community. The time spent on community day could be as many as 8 hours or could be for an entire day. When people do activities they enjoy, the work is a breeze. On community day, the environment is very energetic and exhilarating, while the players that volunteer learn about great responsibility and solidarity.
