What schools did you apply to?

I applied to Cornell University, Pennsylvania State University, University of Pittsburgh, Drexel University, Purdue University, Northeastern University, Georgia Tech University, University of Texas at Austin, and University of Colorado at Boulder.

Where did you commit to and why?

I committed to Cornell University under an Early Decision contract because Cornell’s engineering is rated as one of the best and most prestigious in the nation and Early Decision gave me a higher chance of getting in.

What are your academic and career goals?

I would like to use my environmental engineering degree to fight the devil among us, which is climate change. I am deeply passionate about the topic and I want to make a difference.

What are you most excited about next year?

Having more freedom In college than I did in high school, I want to explore what Cornell has to offer and hopefully study in my field to do good work against climate change.

What is your favorite North Penn Memory? 

Honestly, it’s down to two, either the wind ensemble trip to Kalahari or the time I went to Germany, both were unforgettable moments of my life and I will cherish them forever.
