At North Penn High School, you’re bound to find James Follin in the stands, cheering on the Knights. His unwavering dedication to North Penn sports has made him a beloved figure at every game and a cornerstone of the school’s community.
James Follin, a senior at North Penn High School, has become a symbol of school spirit and support for North Penn Athletics. Ask anyone in the community, and they’ll say the same. James is, without question, one of the Knights’ biggest fans. His dedication goes beyond simply showing up to games, it’s about the energy and pride he brings, making him an essential part of the athletic experience at North Penn.
“I enjoy watching the games and showing my school spirit,” James stated.
Athletes at North Penn appreciate James’s dedication and enthusiasm. Whether seeing him after stepping off the bus following an away game or looking up in the stands to find him cheering, James always brings a smile to their faces.
“Having James in the stands with us at sporting events makes the experience much more enjoyable. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and he always knows how to keep the spirit high, no matter the score,” senior North Penn Baseball player, Brady Dolder said.
James is also a part of the North Penn unified bocce team. He is a varsity starter and a major contributor to the team. He shows the same attributes on the bocce court that he does in the stands.
“James has been a great addition to our Unified Bocce team after joining in our 2023-24 season. James gets along well with all the students and staff involved in bocce. He always has a smile on his face and brings a lot of positive energy to our practices and competitions,” Unified Bocce Coach, Mrs. Ahart added.
James doesn’t just attend the games, he makes sure to encourage everyone else to go support the Knights too. He is always one of the first fans to enter and one of the last to leave. James’ immense school spirit rubs off on everyone around him and creates an atmosphere that every school inspires to have.
“It is important to get involved because it helps school become fun and helps you make friends,” James stated.
