The staff at The Knight Crier has a lot to be thankful for as North Penn High School students this year… you know… all very important serious things!
This Thanksgiving season we ARE THANKFUL FOR….
- Having friends with torn ACLs so we can ride the elevator with them
- 42 extra minutes of sleep thanks to Knight zone
- The teachers working the parking lot on the AM so we don’t get pancaked
- The Hot Pockets and Uncrustables at the sports lobby after school snack stand
- The beverage vending machine being unlocked all day unlike the snack machine. We all need that 8am Coca Cola.
- Having a sunrise view from Kpod where the windows open and the air is fresh. For the love of God please make windows that open when the school is renovated!
- The Cookie Corner. Duh!
- The extra exercise and time out of class because I cant use the Epod bathroom closest to my classroom anymore
- The automatic flushers in the Kpod bathrooms so the water doesn’t leak on my hand when I flush
- The overly enthusiastic announcements at 8:03 am everyday
- The pretty towels used to absorb the leaking water in the Kpod bridge when it rains
- All the extra lines painted in the parking lot so I can make my own parking spot
- All the days that someone else does NOT park in MY parking spot
- The kid who holds the front door every morning… except he injured himself on the rock wall and now he’s not there anymore and we are sad – Get better kid!
- Being able to melt first period and then re-freeze again second period
- My daily race from 8th period in B pod to the parking lot to try to get out before the buses- what a rush!
- The aromatic ambience in Kpod when the Chem classes are firing up the bunsen burners
- That the bees are dead. Sorry PETA… they were very scary
- The empty hand sanitizer dispensers to strengthen our immune systems
- All the people who stop in the middle of the hallway so we can get extra steps in walking around them
- The six flights of stairs I have to climb in Kpod – yes 6! Count them… it’s not 3.
- To be able to pass Wawa, Starbucks, and Dunkin on my way to school each morning… and for the freedom to still be holding my half full iced coffee as late as 5th period because it’s a cool accessory
- Front row seats for the real Rom-Com shows in the hallway each day
- For developing new very close and personal relationships in the Epod clog and bumping into friends long forgotten
- For the ability to share all kinds of awesome stuff with the word at www.knightcrier.org, and through the Student News Source App! Can you imagine not knowing about The Knight Crier and missing out on this amazing list!!
