Knight Next Quest: Ayush Makadia

What schools did you apply to?

 I applied to Rider University, Ithaca College, Temple University, Penn State University, and Montgomery County Community College. 

What school did you commit to and why?

I committed to Ithaca college because they have really good internship programs, like Walt Disney, NBC, the Today show, and many more. During my freshman of college, I will be doing hands-on learning that other colleges do not offer. My best friend also goes to Ithica, so I was happy to be with him. 

What are your academic/career aspirations?

During my time at Ithaca, I would like to expand my knowledge of post-production, audio, screenwriting, producing, sports production, directing, and script writing. I would like to study abroad or go to Los Angles to study film. After I am done with college, I plan on either working for a news channel like NBC or working for a sports channel like ESPN.

What are you most excited for next year?

I am most excited to go to college because it will be a new chapter in my life. I will meet new people with the same interest as me, study my dream career, live in a new environment, explore the new town I will be staying in, and go to college with a friend. 

What is your favorite North Penn memory?

Meeting friends that are like brothers to me, doing NPTV, doing career study for NPTV, and learning a lot from Mr. Gillmer, Mr. Berger, and Ms. Falkish!
