Senior Spotlight: Maddie Clarke

Future Plans: 

I will be attending the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada and studying Health Sciences in the French Immersion program. In this program, the classes for my major will be taught in french. I intend to be a bilingual specialty doctor of some sort.

Favorite NPHS Memory: 

My favorite NPHS memories are the football games & dances with my friends, and the annual IFC trips to the Christmas Market in Philly. 

Favorite Teacher:

My favorite teachers would have to be Madame Sapalidis and Ms Ferrant. I had the privilege to be in class with Madame Sapalidis for french in 10th and 12th grade, and the class always felt like a daily retreat from the craziness of school. She creates such a welcoming environment and has really boosted my confidence with french. Ms Ferrant is the most inspiring person at the high school, and she gave me the most valuable lessons and skills for the future.

Advice to the incoming sophomores:

Definitely get involved in some clubs and go to school events!!
