Senior Spotlight: Alexis Choi

Future plans:

“I will be studying biology at Penn State University.”

Favorite NPHS memory: 

“My favorite high school memory would have to be attending all of the football games with my best friends and making lasting memories every Friday night.”

Favorite classes:

“Government with Mr. Haley.”

Favorite teacher:

“My favorite teachers would have to be Mr. Haley and Ms. Dixon. Mr. Haley really cares about his students and what they take away from his class rather than just throwing information at them. He was also always down for throwing a party for his 5th period class! Ms. Dixon always knew how to brighten my day and make me smile the minute I walked into her class. She makes her classes fun and interactive.”

Advice to incoming sophomores: 

“Don’t take high school or anything for granted. Go to ALL the events North Penn has to offer and make friends. You never know when things can be taken away from you, which is what happened to my class, so I wish I could have stopped and enjoyed highschool and my senior year more. Also, try to live in the moment more. Enjoy what’s happening in the moment and stop worrying about the future.”

To the Class of 2021 I leave…

“I leave you the last 3, and most importantly the most fun months of our senior year. You guys have to have double the amount of fun you have at prom, graduation, MiniThon, and so on because now you are celebrating two classes’ senior years! Have fun for us.”
