Senior Spotlight: Peter Yourl
Future plans:
“Attend Widener where I will be majoring in Civil Engineering as well as playing football.
Favorite NPHS memory:
“My last football game against Downingtown West; unfortunately, we lost, but I’m glad I ended my career with my brothers, Nolan Verespy, Trey Evangelisto, as well as the younger linemen that I mentored this season. It was a bittersweet knowing my career here is over, but I would change a single moment.”
Favorite teacher:
“My favorite teacher is my elementary school gym teacher Mrs. Johnson. She introduced me to other sports and helped me go out of my comfort zone.”
Advice to incoming sophomores:
“There are certain moments in your life that you will not forget, ever. High school is filled with many of them for me, so when you get a chance take a moment and just take it in. I hope you enjoy it because even though my time was cut short, I had one awesome time here.
To the Class of 2021 I leave…
“What I leave to the young class of 2021 is my jr. fishing rod because If you give a kid a fish they can eat for a day, but if you teach a kid to fish they can eat as long as there is fish in the water.”
