Brandon Vu will be attending Stanford University in the fall and will major in computer science.

Senior Spotlight: Brandon Vu

Future Plans:

“I’m going to Stanford University in California to study computer science. I’m not sure what career I want yet. Being close to Silicon Valley, I hope to maximize the tech and entrepreneurial opportunities around the area.”

Favorite NPHS Memory:

“There are countless memories I have from North Penn. Some include spending long nights jazzing with fellow musicians, the Mock Convention, Science Fair competition days, and others.”

Favorite Classes:

“My favorite classes were AP Calculus with Mr. Gourley, AP Physics with DC-dubbs, and AP Chemistry with Mr. Keagy. I always looked forward to those classes, and although they were all the hardest classes I had to take in high school, I am forever indebted to the knowledge and skills that they gave me.”

Advice to incoming sophomores:

“From all my experiences in high school, I noticed two things. First, the more uncomfortable I was in a class or an activity, the more I learned. Second, the more I pushed myself, the more I realized I could do. My advice is to put yourself out there in whatever you are passionate about because it will pay off.”

To the Class of 2021, I leave…

“My missed jazz festivals, a dream to go to the international science fair, an unfinished Lockheed Martin code quest competition, senior graduation, senior prom, senior reflections, senior class night, my final goodbye to all my teachers.”
