Senior Spotlight: Sophie Collins
Future plans:
“I’m going to Penn State University in the fall and am currently undecided on a major.”
Favorite NPHS memory:
“My favorite NPHS memory was senior year homecoming. It was such a fun football game with all my friends and I think I will really remember it forever. A close second for a favorite memory would be all of the Goodwill Ambassadors meetings because they were so fun to hang out with my friends and spread some goodwill.”
Favorite Teacher:
“My favorite teacher was Ms Dixon. She was my English teacher in 11th grade and also the first semester of 12th grade. She was the most honest and down-to-earth teacher I have ever had and made both classes in both years comfortable that even the quietest students felt comfortable opening up.”
Advice to incoming sophomores:
“My advice to sophomores would be to make friends with everyone but still have a good group of friends that you can really trust and really have your back. Quality over quantity.”
To the Class of 2021 I leave…
“I hope they have fun walking those crowded hallways and getting up early for school every single day because now we won’t have to do that ever again! Peace out!”
