Davidson will attend the University of Pittsburgh to study biochemistry – he plans to become a doctor and travel with Doctors Without Borders.

Senior Spotlight: Jeremy Davidson

Future Plans:
“I’m going to University of Pittsburgh to study biochemistry on the Pre-med track. I’m also going to minor in Spanish so that as a doctor I can work abroad through Doctors Without Borders.”
Favorite NPHS Memory:
“The Ski Club trip to Mont Tremblant in Quebec this year was absolutely amazing. The views from the top of the mountain were like nothing I had ever seen before. It was so fun to walk around the French-Style town at night with my friends and experience a new country.”
Favorite Classes:
“My junior year Chemistry class and my senior year AP Chemistry class were definitely my favorites through high school. These classes made me love chemistry and I looked forward to going to them everyday, whether it was to learn interesting material or do an exciting lab that I wouldn’t be able to do anywhere else.”
Favorite Teacher:
“Two of my favorite teachers are Mrs. Ruppel and Mr. Keagy, both of whom I had for chemistry. They were both always so passionate about what they were teaching and made learning the material easy and fun. I always felt comfortable asking them questions and they made the classroom enjoyable to be in. My other favorite teacher is Mrs. Weizer who I had for English in 11th grade. Though the books we read were not the best… Moby Dick… she made them enjoyable through fun projects. I was always excited to go to class and see what random topic Mrs. Weizer decided to discuss that day!”
Advice to incoming sophomores:
“Make sure you get involved as soon as possible. Even if you aren’t interested in homecoming, or Winter Ball, or MiniThon, etc, these are amazing ways to meet and hangout with friends, who might end up being there for you your whole life. North Penn has a crazy amount of clubs to offer, so I’m sure anyone can find something they’d love. The great thing is, if you can’t find an existing club you love, you can create one on your own!”
To the Class of 2021 I leave…
“What will hopefully be a full-length senior year.”
