Yam Cookies!
Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter, softened
- 3 cups of sugar 3 eggs, beaten
- 6 cups of flour
- 3 tablespoons of baking powder
- 3 cups of cooked yams
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1 ½ teaspoons of salt
Directions
- First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- You will want to start off by cooking the yams and scooping out the insides Next you will want to melt the butter in the microwave.
- Put in for short amounts of time, or else you’ll have a puddle of butter and a broken microwave.
- Crack eggs gently, while making sure to not to let the egg shells fall in
- Next mix all ingredients together, preferably in a big bowl while listening to some dubstep.
- Scoop small amounts of mix onto a tray covered in parchment paper.
- Place in oven until golden brown.
- Enjoy your delicious yam ‘cornbread’ cookies!
