Bonjour! If you love the French culture then join the French club, no French speaking experience is required; all you need is your love for French culture. The French club was created to learn about the French culture. The French club meets once a month (B117) for an hour to discuss everything French.
Even though most members are enrolled in a French course at NPHS, there are also some who don’t take French. The club welcomes anyone who adores the French culture.
“A big part of the French culture is the food…we eat a lot” jokes the French club advisor Anya Assous.
Every spring the club takes a trip to a crepe restaurant in Philadelphia. When the members aren’t enjoying the French food, they celebrate different holidays and participate in culture activities. One of their biggest events is participating in the World Cup in the spring. All of the langue clubs play in the laidback soccer tournament.
The French Club’s first meeting is Thursday October 24 in B117, right after school. All members must bring their $2 dues.
