Where did you commit to, and why?

I committed to Belmont University because I intend to major in songwriting. Belmont is in Nashville, Tennessee which is the best place to be surrounded by music and other artists. After visiting, I not only loved the school and their music program, but also the surrounding community. I felt like it was the perfect place for me to learn from those around me and grow as a musician.

What are your career/academic aspirations? 

In the future, I hope to pursue a career as a songwriter by writing and performing my own songs. I would also like to work for sync, writing songs for media such as TV shows and movies, as well as writing for other artists.

What are you most excited about next year?

I am most excited about meeting new people and diversifying my taste in music and writing style. I look forward to collaborating with other writers and learning from such an enriching musical environment.

What is your favorite North Penn memory?

My favorite North Penn memory has been my time involved in North Penn Theatre. I have found my home away from home, getting to spend my evenings rehearsing with my best friends. I am beyond excited for our last show together, Children of Eden, this upcoming weekend.
