If there was an official energy drink for High school students it would be Celsius. According to The Westminster Bi-Line, Celsius is one of the top energy drinks today. Walking into any high school these days, you’ll see at least one student clutching or chugging on a can of Celsius, whether it’s early in the morning, study session or before practice. This magical drink has become the fuel for students trying to survive through the school day. It’s known to be the go to drink for numerous teens.

It’s not considered to be bad, but reaching for one every morning to survive the day isn’t a healthy habit. On the other hand, using it occasionally to stay alert during tests is a good product. Based on The Balanced Nutritionist, it’s important to know that all Celsius drinks contain a significant amount of caffeine. Each can includes a warning label advising “not to exceed two serving per day”. Also, those that are sensitive to caffeine should be extra cautious before consuming it.

Celsius advertises itself as a healthier choice compared to such as monster or red bull, as those products are heavily loaded with sugars. But, Celsius has no artificial flavors, no preservatives and claims that it boosts metabolism.  On the Tasting Table, it indicates that out of 21 Celsius flavors, sparkling mango lemonade flavor is ranked to be number one favorite flavor. Also, mango is known to be the top flavor for the majority of people.

“So if I had to say my favorite flavor is definitely watermelon. It is my absolute favorite and is really good. And yes I would say that it boosts my metabolism. I definitely recommend it but not everyday, it can be really bad and cause heart problems and you can have withdrawal from not drinking it all the time. Also, absolutely love the product it’s a 10/10”, North Penn Student Isabella Doane.

“I chose Celsius over any other energy drinks because it has a wide range of flavors. I always like to try the different flavors to see which is appealing to my taste preferences. I personally think that this drink gives me more energy than any other energy drinks After starting to drink Celsius I noticed that I feel way less tired and sleepy towards the end of the day. I have way more energy to actually do school work and homework after I’m home. It is also a great pre workout drink, helps boost my energy when I don’t feel like working out. I would recommend this to others if they are looking for a good energy drink, since this has helped me,” stated North Penn student Rubiaya Akter.
