Showcasing the hard work and creativity of North Penn students, the 5th annual digital art show includes 50 different pieces of artwork scaling up and down the art media ladder.
Every piece of artwork on display was created in one of North Penns sixteen studio art courses, where students tackled creative challenges assigned to them during class. They took the creative prompt and created beautiful pieces of art. These works are a direct reflection of their passion and love for their arts.
“Art inspires a community to grow by challenging itself to understand and appreciate the creative vision of someone else” Michael Werner, Art Department Chair stated.
The department is broken up in 3 different media based sections, all of which are included in the art show.
The different medias include:
2D Art is drawing, painting, printing, collage, etc…
3D Art is ceramics, and sculpture made from a variety of media.
Digital Art is Digital Photography, Graphic Design, and Computer Animation.
