North Penn High School has an abundance of unique clubs. Some are performance-based and some are cultural-based. But North Penn Photo Club is unlike any other. It not only helps students grow their photography skills but also provides services to other events and clubs in our North Penn community.

“It [Photo Club] helps people learn more about photography. It’s also just fun,” exclaimed Photo Club president Kate Romanoski.

Photo Club offers an array of utilities.

“Photo Club has our photo booth. We’ve also done in the past Republic Night and we’re doing it again this year. We also send people out to do sports games and theatre events,” stated Romanoski.

There are many ways clubs can access Photo Club’s resources.

“All the advisors of the clubs received an email from me on how to access our services. In that email, I attached our Google form, which they can fill out, which is also in our Instagram bio. You can also email me or Mr. Raab to acquire our free services,” explained Romanoski.

If students have any interest in photography and aren’t able to take North Penn’s photo courses then Photo Club is the perfect outlet!

“It’s all just people who like to take photos, it doesn’t have to be someone in photo class, it could be anyone,” described Romanoski.

Additionally, this club is not a major commitment. Their fun, interactive meetings are just once a month. Whether it’s a scavenger hunt or a nature walk, every meeting with Photo Club is engaging and exciting.

“We meet every third Thursday of the month. There is a meeting during Knight Zone and after school. We have 4 officers and 2 of them host the morning meeting and 2 of them do the afternoon one,”

This club has grown tremendously since it was founded. Now with the services they offer, they are branching out into the whole North Penn community.
