What schools did you apply to?
I applied to Elizabethtown, Holy Family, East Stroudsburg, and Desales
Where did you commit and why?
I committed to Elizabethtown in March. When I first toured the school, I felt a sense of belonging that I didn’t feel at any other school. Elizabethtown checked every box on my checklist, there’s so many opportunities and their carrot cake is amazing.
What are your academic/career aspirations?
I am majoring in Occupational Therapy and I mainly want to stick to the pediatric side of the specialty. The end goal is to eventually have my own sort of rehabilitation center/clinic and to focus and hone in on researching autism in children.
What are you most excited for next year?
I am most excited for having a fresh start and meeting many new people. Elizabethtown is a smaller school, about the size of North Penn, which is perfect for that.
What is your favorite North Penn memory?
My time at North Penn has been so eventful, it’s hard to come up with one part that truly stands out. Having all of Walton Farm sing happy birthday to me in Kindergarten and 6th grade on Olympic Day is something I will never forget, as well as starring as the Queen in Pennfield’s Rogers and Hammersteins Cinderella in 8th grade. The entirety of my junior year would have to be my favorite overall memory, I had amazing teachers and a good circle of people who made school fun and brought out the best in me.
