What schools did you apply to?
I applied to Drexel and Temple, with Temple as my top choice. Originally, I had my eyes on the University of Pittsburgh, but the 5-hour distance made me reconsider.
Where did you commit and why?
I chose Temple University for several reasons. It comes highly recommended by friends currently attending, and I’m drawn to the diverse programs and opportunities it offers. The convenience of being just a 40-minute train ride from my parents played a role in my decision.
What are your academic/career aspirations?
While at Temple as a Biology major, I wish to pursue a career in the medical field. I hope to remain at Temple and attend Temple’s Medical School. I want to become a dermatologist, but you never really know what life can throw at you.
What are you most excited for next year?
Looking ahead to next year, I’m excited about the fresh start. Transitioning from high school to college feels exciting. I’ll make new friends while appreciating those who have always supported me. I’m also eager to explore new opportunities, with skydiving being one of them.
What is your favorite North Penn memory?
There’s no single favorite memory at North Penn; instead, there are many. While there’s a sense of relief in leaving, I’m grateful for experiences like post-school coffee runs with my best friend, attending sophomore year football games, late-night dance practices for Republic Knight, and becoming close with the most important person in my life. Overall, my time at North Penn isn’t as bad as I initially thought it would be.
