TOWAMENCIN- Amongst the many clubs at North Penn, one of the biggest clubs, ENACT club, has achieved many different successes throughout its existence.
Whether volunteering or raising awareness, the ENACT club knows no limits to success. However, their monthly newsletter, the ‘Green Gazette,’ currently needs more writers and contributors.
“Anyone can write for it [the newsletter]; you don’t even need to be in the ENACT club; you just need a passion for writing or editing. We currently need graphic designers and writers; you don’t need to be good at it, as long as you like it,” Editor-in-Chief Aleena Tahsin exclaimed.
The Green Gazette is a monthly publication that any student can contribute to. Four people currently run it and focus on critical environmental topics. It was made to help raise awareness about the current environmental issues, not just on the local scale but on the global scale.
“We wrote about the Maui fires that happened a couple of months ago, and we also write about climate change and more environmental issues. We also have different monthly themes; for example, next month it’s Thanksgiving,” Tahsin explained.
The future of the newsletter looks very promising and achievable. The only thing that the newsletter needs is more readers and contributors. If you or someone you know is interested in writing or editing, writing for the newsletter will be an exciting and door-opening experience.
Anyone can read the newsletter. No cost is required; all you have to do is go to the North Penn ENACT club website and sign up to get new issues emailed to you.
