Wing Bowl, what you need to know
This Friday, the Student Government Association will be hosting the annual Wing Bowl. It’s going to be a busy night, so here are five things you need to know:
1.Wing Bowl begins at 5:00pm in the senior cafeteria
Starting promptly at 5:00pm, the first rounds of Wing Bowl will begin in the senior cafeteria. Admission to the Wing Bowl is free, so spectators are encouraged! We recommend that participating teams arrive early to see their place in the tournmanet bracket.
2. Finals will be taking place in the Navy Gym
That’s right! In between the Knights’ basketball double header against Souderton, the Wing Bowl will be traveling from the senior cafeteria to half court. There, the final round of Wing Bowl will take place and the champions will be crowned. Be ready for a rapid round of wing eating with a packed crowd in the gym. If you attend the Wing Bowl, you will get your hand stamped, granting you automatic admission to the basketball games!
3. Concessions
If watching people devour wings makes your stomach growl, no worries. Pizza and a treats from a MiniThon bake sale will be on site.
4. Prizes for the best dressed team
SGA will be awarding the best dressed team with a prize! That extra time planning an outfit could get you some extra rewards.
5. Bring your friends
What’s better than hanging out with your friends on a Friday night? So make sure to gather a group of people and attend the Wing Bowl. Cheer on your favorite team, have dinner, and enjoy watching the finals take place in the Navy gym before a North Penn basketball game.
