As a new addition to the growing menu of the high school’s selection, the Coffee Corner opened early last week offering a selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffee. The Coffee Corner provides a multitude of condiments including creamers, marshmallows, sprinkles, and whipped cream. The Coffee Corner has quickly become a popular place for both students and teachers to grab a drink before starting off their day. It is open every morning from 6:45am-7:15am and is cash only.

Area supervisor for food services, Jessie Klause, was impressed by the quick success of the new addition to the cafeteria.

“So far we’ve been really, really busy. Kids are loving it; they think it’s the best idea the school’s had,” Klause remarked.

First time coffee corner attendee, Rachel Ngodwe was pleasantly surprised as well.

“I definitely think it’s a great thing. I’m really happy that they brought this to school because it helps people wake up and get ready for the day,” she explained.
