TOWAMENCIN – The Class of 2016 is hosting the first annual fall dance on Tuesday, November 26th (the last day before Thanksgiving break) from 7pm – 9:30pm.
“We don’t think there are enough informal dances here at the high school, [the dance] is just a way for kids to come out have fun and listen to some good music,” stated sophomore class adviser Jonathan Fluck.
Ticket sales will be held the week leading up to the dance Wednesday November 20th – Tuesday November 26th in the cafeteria; tickets are a mere $5 in advance and $7 at door.
This dance has a special addition compared to other dances – YOU get to choose the song playlist.
“People are going to be about to tweet in song suggestions that they want to hear. So the week leading up people can tweet in songs that they want to hear at the dance and we will compile a list that we are going to play and at the dance. If you want to hear certain songs [during the dance], you can tweet it in and we will try to get the DJ to play it,” explained Fluck.
Song requests for the fall informal can be tweeted in with the hashtage #npinformal a week before the informal.
The dress code is informal, so just wear what’s appropriate for high school.
“It’s going to be awesome…come with your friends and have fun,” concluded Fluck.
