The teachers’ lunchroom was overwhelmed with lavender scent and busy students after school on Thursday February 28th.
The Goodwill Ambassadors were at it again – spreading goodwill and showing appreciations for the staff at North Penn. This time, the Ambassadors made soap for the hardworking school nurses.
Dyed with vibrant colors and infused with calming fragrance, each soap had an eclectic and unique design (see pictures below).
The best way to describe what the Ambassadors do is that they “perform random acts of kindness,” said Mrs Bell.
This is Mrs. Bell (secretary of home office A32)’s second year as advisor to the Goodwill Ambassadors club; she inherited the club from Ms. Magarity, who had been an advisor for many years. “I’m really loving it,” Bell added.
Past projects that the club has done include decorating boxes of Valentine’s day chocolate for the assistant principals and the principal, making pencil holders for home office secretaries, Halloween candy bags for the tech department, and baking muffins for NPTV.
“I love working with the officers and Mrs. Bell to do fun projects for the faculty and staff at North Penn,” said the club’s president Vivien Chang. “It’s great to see our members having fun while doing good deeds.”
Meetings are usually held on every second Thursday after school of every month. For more information, contact Mrs. Bell at A32.
So come join the Goodwill Ambassadors and be kind and creative!
“And we always have food,” Chang added.
