After a week of preparation and excitement for homecoming, what could be a better conclusion than a giant party? Ending Spirit Week on a high note, North Penn’s SGA will be hosting a homecoming pregame party on Friday October 21st at 5:00pm.
Danielle Maier, SGA cabinet member says the event will be a “fun time, a good way to end spirit week.”
For students to attend the pregame party they will have to purchase a ticket during a lunch period for $20. Ticket sales began on October 3rd. Tickets must be purchased ahead because they will not be sold at the event. The price includes a homecoming game ticket, a tee shirt, and food.
“Students usually make burgers and hot dogs,” states SGA adviser Mr. Berger “We’re doing something a little bit different.”
The food will be catered by Ted Montana’s Grill, located in Warrington. The menu for the event consists of cheeseburger sliders, rib sliders, pulled chicken, and side dishes of coleslaw and homemade chips. Of course there will also be beverages, provided by Rosenberger.
The event has been designed to get students excited for the homecoming game. SGA wants to make homecoming a bigger and more exciting event. Since North Penn has such a large student body the stands should be full of cheering fans showing school support at the important event.
Tickets sales will end on Wednesday, October 12th. So if you’re looking for something fun to do on a Friday night, make sure to buy a ticket to participate in this fun new event and help cheer on the Knights and North Penn’s 2011 homecoming court.
