Little acts of kindness can have a big impact. For those who want to help out, the Goodwill Ambassadors is the perfect club to join! “Goodwill Ambassadors is a club that expresses appreciation through crafts and projects,” explains Rosanna Ma, Vice President. “I have been in GA for three years, but I know the club existed before that. It was made by Victoria Solomon, salutatorian of the class of 2009.” Projects that Goodwill Ambassador members worked on last year include making a cookie platter for the security guards, decorating holiday pencil holders for counselors, and making little magnets for the custodians. Rosanna adds “we would like to go broader this year by touching the community and being active in it.” Also members can volunteer to aid new students around the school. The club is open to everyone, and Ma said “I hope more boys would be involved in this club. I know a lot of people think this artsy crafty club is only for girls!” The leaders of the club are seniors Bobby Dougherty, President, Rosanna Ma, Vice President, Yebin Seo, Treasurer, Erin Fisher, Secretary, and Alyssa Dannaker, Historian. GA meets every third Thursday of the month in room A31 from 2:30-4:00pm.
