The most electrifying man in sports: Mr. Chris Frey to join WWE

Finally… “The Dean of Pain” has come back to World Wrestling Entertainment. While the nickname will seem unfamiliar to North Penn students, the face under the mask has been seen all over the school. So who is it? We all know the only teacher that could keep up with Steve Austin or The Rock is Mr. Chris Frey.

Formerly known as Mr. Frey, “The Dean of Pain” is shooting for the stars with WWE’s biggest event, Wrestlemania, creeping around the corner. “So whatcha gonna do when these 25 inch pythons come for you??” Frey enthusiastically exclaimed.

Frey was offered a developmental contract with the WWE, and has been perfecting his art through “dark matches” before and after live events. The bright green mask grabs the attention of the viewers before he crushes the opponent with his finisher, the “Deep Freyer”.

Frey’s love for WWE started before he worked at North Penn, when he starred as an extra in John Cena’s Wrestlemania 25 entrance. Despite the offers given by the WWE at that time, he turned those down in pursuit of a career in education.

“Yeah, I love putting people through tables, but I love putting people through high school more”, Frey explains, “And once Randy Orton won the Money in The Bank I knew I had no shot.”

After 12 years, Frey has decided to finally take WWE up on those offers and come back to lay some smackdown on the WWE roster. Frey is returning just in time for Wrestlemania, but will he be a good guy or a bad guy? I asked Frey to give his opinion on John Cena’s attack on Cody Rhodes and he gave me a very vague answer.

“I saw the way John Cena, the Rock, and Travis Scott beat up Cody Rhodes and I knew I had to do something about it- If you smell what the Deep Freyer is cooking” Frey stated a completely original catchphrase.

The only question that Frey did not appreciate was one we all have asked ourselves before… is he related to Andre the Giant? “No, I am not, please stop asking me that,” Frey asserted.

As Wrestlemania approaches, keep an eye out for a familiar North Penn face -or mask rather-  in the ring. Could he be the one to end Cody Rhodes’ title reign? Or, could he be the one to stop the team of The Rock and John Cena? Whatever the case, all we know is: it’s true, it’s true.
