Senior Athlete Spotlight: Anna Fiore

What sport/ position do you play?

I play soccer and I am the goalkeeper.

How many years have you played?

12 years in total and 4 years in high school.

What’s your favorite memory?

My favorite memory is when James Klemmer, the ball boy got a yellow card in the first game of the season.

How did you impact the team?

I impacted the team by being a captain and doing my best to lead the team with the other captains to wins and keeping the energy high during games.

How have you grown as a player throughout years?

I’ve grown as a player by becoming a very confident player on the team and always being someone my teammates know they can lean on and look to for support both on and off the field.

How did being an athlete positively affect your high school experience?

It affected me positively by giving me a good core group of friends for my 4 years of high school and however many years after and making the transition from each grade super easy abs always giving me something to look forward to after school
