Team: North Penn Boys Basketball

Coach: John Conrad – 11th year

Assistant coaches: Steve Norman, Steve Pierantozzi, Zach Quigley

Last year’s record: 

League Record 6-4

Overall Record: 12- 7 (including playoffs)

Notable losses:

Josh Jones (Louisville for soccer), 

Billy Coley

Key returners:

Joe Larkins (5’10 senior guard)

Mario Sgro (5’9 junior guard)

Ryan Zeltt (6’4 junior forward)

Others to watch:

Ryan Deininger (6’2 junior forward)

Milind Pulugura (6’4 senior forward)

Strengths:

3 returning starters from last year’s team.

Question Marks:

Size and post presence. After graduating Jones and Coley, we will need to find away to replace 37 points and 16 rebounds per game.

Outlook:

We have a lot of new faces in the program. Culture and chemistry will be more important than X’s and O’s for this group.

Coach: Robert Shettsline- 28 years as head coach, 6 years as assistant coach

Strengths/Question Marks:

We are glad to have some lightweights back in the line-up this year, last year we were forfeiting the first two weight classes. We should be strong thru the middle of our line-up.

Outlook: 

“A team goal every year is to win our league championship. We are happy to get back into some of our more prestigious tournaments in December! This better prepares our kids for the post-season. We also want to compete at district duals and qualify multiple wrestlers for the state championship tournament. We strive to help our wrestlers attain their personal goals.”

Coach: Brianna Cullen 1st year

Outlook: 

The Knights will have a young team but a team that gained a lot of Varsity experience last season. The team will look for those young players to take a big step this year after graduating 9 players from last year’s team. The Knights will have a welcome addition with Nich Ebbinghaus back in net for his senior year.
