Boys Bowling claims 6th straight league title
The regular season for the bowling team has come to an end and for the boys squad, it ended on great terms.
The boys bowling team finished their regular season by claiming their 6th straight title in the American League. They did this by beating Quakertown in the Finals of the Suburban One League tournament with scores of 257-255 and 243-178.
“To win a sixth straight league title is a great accomplishment for not only our team but our coach as well. This year had our ups and downs with everyone contributing. It’s just a great feeling to win it all again,” Lucas Francis said.
The team was led by the sophomore Francis along with seniors James Carnal and Martin Grace, who all made First Team All League. It’s also worth mentioning that on the girls side, Jennifer Snyder made All League 2nd team and Annaleigh Switzer was an honorable mention.
“Making first team all league for my second consecutive year is an amazing feeling. I just hope to continue my success in the regional and state levels. It’s always great to receive individual recognition but to have my teammates James Carnal and Martin Grace also make first team is incredible,” Francis stated.
Next up for the Knights is the regional competition February 28-29 in Lancaster.
