“This event is a big draw for us as we try to promote awareness of the North Penn Ice Hockey team throughout the elementary schools. We want to make the students and families aware of Ice Hockey and hope to create some interest in the program and joining the program as a hockey player. We have been doing this event for about 15 years now. I want to say and it is always a huge success,” stated Knights head coach, Kevin Vaitis.
As the North Penn ice hockey heads into their sixth week of the ‘18-’19 season, taking on crosstown rival Souderton Indians, is a matchup for sure to circle on your calendar this week.
“I think those attending can expect a great hockey game with a lot of excitement and entertainment for the fans. We are playing some good hockey right now and doing a lot of things well. We continue to work in our practices to refine certain areas and people will be impressed when they see this Varsity team and how hard the work,” said Coach Vaitis.
