TOWAMENCIN- Powered by a strong fourth inning, the North Penn baseball team earned their second win of the season on Friday afternoon, up ending Neshaminy 11-6.
Reed Shuttle notched the win on the mound, pitching four solid innings and giving up only two hits and allowing only a single run. Shuttle also struck out four batters.
Alec Lashkevich came in relief for Shuttle in the fitting inning and Brian Maher finished the game, hurling the game’s final four outs.
The Knights’ (2-0) offense was powered by Brady West, who was 2-4 with a double and triple and 4 RBI. Casey Clauss also sparked the offense with his double and single and 3 RBI.
North Penn will look to make it three in a row to start the season when they take on Central Bucks East home at North Penn High School on Tuesday afternoon at 3:45.
