Head Coach- Ms. Maggie Demartelerie
Last Year’s Record- 17-8 overall, 11-3 in the conference
The North Penn girls’ basketball team looks to build on a successful season a year ago in which they came up short of a state title. This year, with 4 of 5 starters returning, the Maidens look to use their great chemistry on and off the court to potentially contend for a state title.
“I think we are all setting our expectations pretty high this season. We have a lot of returning varsity players which should be an advantage heading into the season, and we have great chemistry on and off the court,” said senior Amy Check.
Key players lost to graduation: Meg Gallagher
Key Returners: Brenda McDermott (12), Steph Knauer (12), Emily Hagan (12), Lauren Crisler (11), Erin Maher (10), Vicky Tumasz (10)
Competition around the league- “CB East is the team to beat. Souderton has a lot of returning players along with CB West, and CB south is always competitive.”- Demartelerie
What the players said- “This season we are working hard towards winning the league and growing as a whole each game”- Knauer
What the coach said- “Our expectations are pretty high because we have a lot of returning players from last year. So we have a lot of leadership and experience that will be on the court at all times.”- Demartelerie

I think it would be cool if with some of the articles you could have a photo gallery with photos on what happened and such. I know from personal interest, I love seeing pictures of what went on during a basketball game or even a certain event that I couldn’t make it to that way I still had some idea of what went on during that event.
