LANSDALE – The North Penn School District is in the process of updating the North Penn High School Alumni Directory, a publication last produced in 2006.
Beginning September 17, North Penn alumni will receive a postcard in their homes concerning the directory project from Harris Connect and North Penn High School Principal Burt Hynes that asks them to provide and update demographic information by calling the following toll-free number (1-800-546-1014). NPHS alumni will also receive an email asking them to update this information via the toll-free number.
From September 17 through December 3, there will be approximately five to six email blasts to North Penn alumni asking for the updated information. After December 3, Harris Connect will begin to make phone calls to alumni who have yet to respond. Alumni are walked through their last listing, if there is one, by a Harris Connect representative and can include as little or as much information as they like. Alumni who do not wish to be included in the directory may decline. At the end of each phone call, alumni will then be asked to purchase a directory. When phone calls are received by a voicemail, a pre-recorded message will be left.
North Penn alumni have until January 14, 2012 to update their demographic information that includes such information as an e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, and profession. Books will be ready for shipment by the end of February.
“The directory is an excellent resource for North Penn alumni near and far,” said Christine Liberaski, Manager, NPSD School/Community Engagement. “The more alumnus we can get to update their information, the more accurate and useful the directory will be for our graduates.”
NPSD appreciates the support and participation of the North Penn community as it builds its alumni network. NPSD plans to use this directory information to improve communication with alumni and engage them in North Penn schools. Any questions regarding the project can be directed to NPSD Manage or School & Community Engagement Christine Liberaski at 215-853-1020 or [email protected].
