LANSDALE – The entire North Penn community and surrounding areas can now view the North Penn School District Community Education Program brochure for Spring 2012 on the district’s website at www.npenn.org, as a link under the middle column titled “Quick Links”.
This 16-page brochure will be mailed home to residents at the end of January, beginning of February, and will feature courses in aquatics, art, baking and cooking, computer, continued learning, dog training, financial seminars, leisure, photography, planetarium programs, sports and fitness, trips and much more, including an entire section just for kids! Saturday classes begin February 25 and weekday classes begin February 27, unless otherwise noted. Please note that Aquatics classes do not follow these start dates so please check the beginning date for each aquatics session.
The NPSD Community Education Program is thrilled to be able to offer approximately 15 new classes, including Advanced Microsoft Word, Basic Walking and Running, Bollywood Fitness, Piloxing, Devil and Angel Meals, Quick Process Pickles, French I, Reading/Writing Skills for the GED Test, Managing & Minimizing Personal and Professional Stress, Savvy Social Security Planning, Reverse Mortgage – Dispel the Myth, and Accessories: Where and How to Use Them.
Save the date for one of two special in-person registrations scheduled for Thursday, February 9th and Monday, February 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Educational Services Center, located at 401 E. Hancock Street in Lansdale. Attendees will be able to meet the NPSD Community Education staff, learn about the variety of classes offered and register for spring courses in person! A 5% discount will be given to everyone who enrolls this night during in-person registration. Please note: registrations can be mailed in prior to Thursday, February 9th.
