LANSDALE – The North Penn School District is proud to announce that another North Penn High School Technology Education teacher has been honored by the Technology and Engineering Education Association of Pennsylvania (TEEAP).
In addition to Michael Voicheck being honored as High School Teacher of the Year by this organization at its annual conference, the TEEAP Council for Leadership also recognized North Penn High School Technology Education teacher Bill Michael for Exemplary Leadership.
The mission of the TEEAP Council for Leadership is to foster leadership for the Technology and Engineering Education Association of Pennsylvania as well as to foster leadership in the profession in Pennsylvania. The TEEAP-CL works on the behalf of the TEEAP Board to complete a variety of initiatives and includes such activities as:
- Promoting effective leadership and program development at the local and state levels,
- Providing a vehicle for the development of leadership skills, the exchange of program ideas and developments related to the goals of Technology & Engineering Education,
- Providing assistance in the professional growth and development of the members of the Council.
- Providing a forum for discussion of national trends in program development and leadership, and
- Providing for interaction about legislative activities that impact Technology & Engineering Education
The North Penn School District is thrilled to have such talented staff members, who continue to show expertise and leadership in their chosen teaching area that directly affects student learning and professional development for their colleagues.
