Do you procrastinate all the way to the last minute? Lack motivation to do your best? Feel like giving up as the school year rounds to an end? More specifically, are you a senior dragging towards graduation? Likely, you’re coming down with a hard case of senioritis.
April 5th marked the start of the fourth marking period for the 2024-2025 school year. For some students, more specifically the seniors, this will be their last school quarter at North Penn High School. But with the last quarter comes the low motivation. How do we avoid the inevitable case of senioritis? Moreover, is there a way to beat senioritis?
There is! And in fact, it is important that you do. It is also important to stay engaged with your academics and extracurricular activities. Just sitting in class and skipping club meetings will assist in your downfall.
ACT shares a list of 5 ways to prevent senioritis. Some honorable mentions include challenging yourself, and as I shared, getting involved, and setting both academic and personal goals.
