Besides anticipating the arrival of spring, the true excitement in March should truly be dedicated to the NCAA March Madness. Whether you are a college basketball lover or not, you can find some type of excitement and interest in March Madness. The fun begins with completing your bracket by choosing which teams you think will win in each round. The fun continues watching the games and checking your bracket on your March Madness apps. But the most enjoyable part is competing against your friends, family, or strangers for the top spot after each game or round. It is the competitive element that makes this so popular. By guessing the most wins, you could possibly win money or the satisfaction of bragging rights.

Knight Dislike: Heels

This past weekend was junior prom, where every girl wears elegant dresses and gets showered with compliments on their hair and makeup. Although this event is only three hours long, the one thing people (sorry men, but I’m mostly talking to you) seem to forget sometimes is that most of us, to be slightly taller for our dates, wear very, very uncomfortable heels. Heels, for a girl who prefers vans and moccasins, are torturous. They squish your toes together and make you walk only a little faster than a snail. Although taking your shoes off is always an option, as many girls choose to do the second they walk into the gymnasium, it often results in a dress you may have spent hundreds of dollars on dragging around on the dirty floor. So really, there is no winner when your 5’2” and have absolutely no coordination in heels.
