Knight Like – Elvis Duran and the Morning Show
By Madison Wiernusz

Morning drives to school can be dull and pretty boring. Typically, there’s no one to talk to, and it’s just so early that it’s hard to even think straight. The absolute best way to liven up the morning is to listen to Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. Everyone on the show is so upbeat that it’s hard to zone out or want to change to a different radio station. Featured segments, such as Danielle’s celebrity gossip, Greg T’s morning announcements and topic train, and phone taps, keep viewers tuned in because they’re just that entertaining. On top of the segments, Elvis Duran can just talk for minutes at a time, and everything he says is so hilariously random that it keeps every listener laughing. There’s never a dull moment, so without Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, mornings would be dreary all of the time.

Knight Dislike – Not getting the left turn arrow
By Steph Krane

I know you know I’m here, traffic light. If I were to run this red light, the camera and sensors would detect it and I would receive a ticket in the mail a few days from now. So don’t pretend that you don’t see me. And don’t pretend that there’s a chance I will be able to make this turn after the 20 cars going straight slowly parade across the intersection. I can see the two little spots on the traffic light meant for a green and yellow left-facing arrow, so I know it is possible for me to receive a turn arrow. But when the light turns immediately from red to solid green, I know I’m in for a struggle. I’ll have to inch out into the intersection until I’m directly in the middle of traffic, the cars whizzing around me, the light turning from green to yellow as cars continue to block my path to the road I need to get to. Suddenly, the light turns red; there ceases to be other cars in the intersection; finally, illegally, unsafely, I can make my turn. This problem could have been solved if I had just been granted ten seconds of a green, left-pointing allowance to safely and legally cruise out in front of the stopped line of cars in front of me who thought their light was going to turn green.
