This year, The Knight Crier received many creative promposal submissions. We’d like to thank everyone who submitted and wish each contestant the best of luck!
In the article below, you will find all of the submissions that qualified for the contest based on the rules stated in this article. Voting will begin today, April 5th, starting at 10:00 am and will end at 3 pm on April 7th. There is only one vote per email, so the more people you get to vote the better off you are. The top three contestants will be announced on the morning announcements on Thursday, April 11th. The voting poll can be found on our homepage.
JULIA KNOBLAUCH – My boyfriend, Peter, came to my house and distracted me by bringing my friend who was home from college. When I was turned around and talking to her, he played the song “Show Me How”, which has a significance in our relationship, through his car speaker, gave me flowers and a squishmallow, and asked me to prom.
LUCAS MIDIRI – I promposed in Disney world, Magic Kingdom, during the fireworks on Friday, March 21. I had Kathryn Romanoski and Ellie beck hold “prom?” written in Disney pins in each hand, while I held question mark and a pin saying “prom?” It took a lot of work to coordinate with a lot of friends helping with gathering pins and keeping the surprise under wraps.
ECHO YORDY – I walked up to my partner Alex in the senior cafe and serenaded them with our favorite song from epic the musical, “would you fall in love with me again”, it’s a deep and powerful song about two lovers reuniting. the lovers are odysseus and penelope from the odyssey , this is reflected in the sign i held that states, “will you be the penelope to my odysseus”
JUGURTHA HAMEG – I promposed to my girlfriend Demi by singing Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston in the Auditorium Lobby and had my friends sing backup for me.

ETHAN WEED – I tried to sneak over to her house but when I got there she had left. I asked Brianna’s mom where she was and waited for her at her aunts house. After she parked I walked up to her with my sign and asked her to go to prom.
