Nanotech and Engineering Symposium at NPHS to open window to future
TOWAMENCIN- The senior students of the North Penn High School Engineering Academy will be presenting their nanotechnology and engineering research on Thursday, May 30, 2019 beginning at 7:00 PM in the auditorium at North Penn High School and transitioning to the auxiliary gymnasium at 8:30pm.
During the first half of the evening, you will see innovative ways the Engineering Design and Development students have designed and tested solutions to tackle some of the most pressing energy, healthcare and environmental problems facing our world today. Their innovative approaches to problem solving, experimental design, and STEM research was only made possible through generous grant funding from the North Penn Educational Foundation, the Dow Chemical Company and many other leading businesses and organizations.
Following the first half of the presentation, there will be poster sessions in the auxiliary gymnasium for questions and answers, demonstrations of their research, and much more!
Students from the North Penn NASA Research Team will be demonstrating work they have been performing this year and representatives from the North Penn Alumni Athletic Association Class of ‘62 scholarship committee will be available to share information and discuss the yearly scholarship award for our students!
I know the end of the school year can be a busy time but we hope you will be able to join us on Thursday, May 30th at 7pm. For further information, please visit their website at http://www.thefutureisnear.org/
