TOWAMENCIN – Before the clock had struck 8am on Friday morning, North Penn High School had already done the following:  Offered good luck wishes to Brandon McManus on NPTV from a dozen teachers, given away an autographed Brandon McManus jersey to one lucky student in Dwight Homan’s social studies class, and hosted FOX 29’s Jennaphr Frederick on live TV in the main concourse.

Sure, just a typical morning at North Penn High School. Well, not exactly. Faculty, staff, and students are honoring 2009 grad Brandon McManus today as he gets set to kick for the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl on Sunday night. In preparation for today’s celebration, SGA advisors Amy Young and Kyle Berger organized the sale of over 1200 T-shirts sporting the #8 in Bronco orange.

Amidst the NPHS Drum Line, Cheerleaders, and several dozen students and staff, Frederick energetically sprinted her way through the concourse showing North Penn’s pride to the Delaware Valley’s FOX 29 viewing public.

McManus and the Broncos take on the the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at 6pm in Santa Clara, CA.
