From Wednesday, April 3rd until Saturday, April 6th, students, staff, and community members will have the opportunity to see their favorite songs brough to “lights.” As a fundraising effort to remodel its increasingly outdated technology, The North Penn High School planetarium will be hosting a series of laser light shows synced with music from artists like The Beatles, Blink 182, Michael Jackson, and more.
Tickets for the event are $7 for adults, and $5 for students and can be pre-ordered from www.northpenncep.org or a form found outside of the planetarium.
Laser Light Show Lineup:
Wednesday, April 3rd:
-6 PM-“Laser Magic Show” which features artists like Blink 182, No Doubt, and the B-52’s.
-7:15 PM-“Laser Retro” which features bands from the 80’s like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, and The Cure
Thursday, April 4th
-6 PM- “Legends of the Night Sky” which is an animated story featuring a few popular constellations in the sky. This show is perfect for younger audiences.
-7:15 PM- “Laser Beatles” which broadcasts all your favorite Beatles hits
Friday, April 5th
-6 PM- “Laser Mania”- similar to “Laser Magic Show”
-7:15 PM-“Laser Vinyl” which features a variety of classic rock bands like /DC, Queen, Aerosmith and Pink Floyd.
Saturday, April 6th
-1 PM- “Legends of the Night Sky”
-2:15 PM- “Laser Beatles”
