LANSDALE – The North Penn School District is proud to announce that North Penn High School students Anisa Eshraghi, Poojita Sharan, Jiyoon Song, Layla Annous, Christopher You and Matt Hinkle have been selected to represent the district in the 2012 Montgomery County Honors String Orchestra. 

This year’s festival is being hosted by Mrs. Diana Helmetag, Orchestra Director at Upper Merion High School.  The guest conductor will be Yoon Jae Lee.  Mr. Lee is the founder and artistic director of the Ensemble 212 in NYC, Music Director of the Old York Road Symphony, and a teacher at the City College of New York, CUNY.  The concert will be held at Upper Merion High School on Friday, November 9, beginning at 7 p.m.
