LANSDALE – The North Penn Varsity cheerleaders traveled to Virginia on March 24 and 25 to compete at the Cheer and Dance Extreme Grand National Competition. Teams from up and down the East coast and as far away as Utah participated in this National event.
The North Penn High School cheerleading squad, comprised of 21 students from North Penn High School and North Penn’s three middle schools, competed in the small varsity advanced division. The students fought hard to win the Title of Advanced Grand Champions in the small varsity division, the title they also received last year.
Congratulations to all of the students who worked hard to receive this honor and to Varsity Coach Cookie McGowan. For more information about this competition, please contact Cookie at [email protected]
