Finley, Beyoncé headline multi million dollar record deal
April 1, 2015
TOWAMENCIN – The sassy, fierce, and powerful Vicki Finley commanded the North Penn stage with her original song during the Talent Show. Earning her second place in the competition, she won first place in the hearts of many audience members, specifically one member. After the talent show ended, a producer approached Finley and offered her a recording contract.
“The night was amazing already with winning second place, such a fun night. Then I got offered a recording contract and I just couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it. It feels like I’m dreaming,” said Finley, through a small opening in the tinted backseat window of her new Escalade limo parked in S-lot.
When it comes to singing, Finley is not a rookie; having already recorded “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5 in a recording studio, she now will be recording daily in a studio in Philly. Along with Finley many other artists will be recording their new albums in the same studio: Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy. Because of the new contract, Finley will be home schooled so her tours and concerts will not conflict with her education.
“I’m going to miss North Penn and all of my friends, but I think going off to start my career will be good for me. I’ve learned so much about music and singing through the music program at North Penn, but I’m ready to start applying it into the real world. I couldn’t pass up this opportunity of a lifetime,” said Finley.
April 3nd will be Finley’s last day in North Penn High School as she sets off to her new home in Philly near her recording studio. After she finishes writing and recording her first album, Finley will be touring with Beyoncé as her opening act. The tour begins on May 30th in London, England and ends on April 13, 2016 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Finley will be returning for the commencement ceremony on June 11th, and will be performing a new single featuring Beyoncé.
“When I first heard her voice, I instantly knew that she should be on our label. She has the attitude, the look, and the voice. Vicki Finley is going to take over the music industry. Soon you’ll hear her voice all over the radio and performing for sold out arenas as the headline act. Don’t worry, we will be more than happy to come back and perform for North Penn,” said producer Simon Cowell.
Tickets to attend Finley’s performances are now available online at ticketmustard.com.
