Local Review: Tons of tapioca at Teapioca!
Ever craving a refreshing, bubbly treat after school? Well, Teapioca is just the place for you.
Teapioca is a tea, coffee, and smoothie shop, primarily known for its bubble tea. Originally opened in 2010 in Texas, Teapioca is a small franchise that has thankfully made its way to North Wales, PA in recent years.
Walking inside Teapioca, you’ll find a comfortable lounge interior, with cozy couches and seating areas inside the shop. You’ll see snacks, such as bags of chips and macarons, being sold at the counter. They also have games available, like Uno and Connect 4, to ensure a fun and enjoyable experience for customers.
Their menu offers tons of different flavors, including a variety of pumpkin spice options just for this season. Although it was hard to choose from all of these options, I decided to order the Thai tea with tapioca pearls. It cost around $6.50, which seemed fairly reasonable considering the large size of the drink.
My first sip of the tea was a pleasant surprise; the rich Thai flavor did not disappoint, as well as the consistency of the tapioca from the bottom. The tea was smooth and sweet, but not overpowering. My only criticism is that the tapioca could have been a little more sweet and soft, but that’s just my personal preference. Taking all things into account, I’d rate this drink a solid 8/10 and would recommend it to others!
Overall, I think Teapioca is a charming shop that offers tasty drinks and a relaxing atmosphere. It feels like the perfect place to go with friends and family when you’re just craving a good treat and want to play some classic board games. There is something on the menu for everyone, from Thai tea to chocolate strawberry smoothies.
Located in the Montgomery Commons shopping center right off of Welsh Road, be sure to give Teapioca a visit. I know I will definitely be coming back!
